There are lots of ways you can get involved with us! Really - it's easy!  Okay, so maybe you can't push an easy button, but it is as simple as speaking to a board member, worship leader, or our new Pastor.  There is so much going on - we know there is something for you - and we want you to get involved!

Prayer Ministry

Prefer to be involved in a behind-the-scenes kind-of way?  How about becoming involved in the Prayer Ministry!  Each week, prayer requests are lifted up to God by a committed team of prayer warriors - praying on their own, in their own time, for the needs of our members, friends, and families.   As prayers are placed in the prayer box each week, they are kept confidential by the Prayer Team, but prayed for daily.  Yes, we do believe in praying without ceasing!

Music

Is music your thing?   Use your talents at GSMCC!  Music is an important part of our worship.  We have a praise team that leads in worship during the evening service, and a choir for the morning service, and we can always use more dedicated voices.  You do not need to have a musical background, just a desire to sing.

If you aren't able to make a joyful noise with singing, how about getting those instruments back out?  It doesn't matter if you play guitar, trumpet, drums, or a cello - there is a place for you!  At GSMCC, we extend opportunities for all God's children to use their God-given talents in worship - and develop their potential.  If you're looking for a church home where you can get involved in music, this is the place for you!

Other ways to get involved

Ok - so you don't feel musically blessed?  Are you out-going and friendly?  Want to help make someone feel welcome and comfortable?  There's a place for that gift as well!  Our ushers and greeters are the best around, and as we are growing in numbers, we could use some more folks with friendly faces and warm hand-shakes.

We're beginning a brand new Communication team - and if you can talk, email, post on the web, spend time on facebook or twitter - you've got just the skills we need!  This brand new team will be looking at all the ways we can communicate better - your ideas are needed!
