Music Ministry
The mission and purpose of the Music Ministry is to glorify God through music. We believe that talent is a gift from God and that to be good stewards of that gift, we should develop our talents and return them back to God. We believe that in serving our Lord we should strive to do so with excellence, giving God our best, and giving ourselves to God to be His instrument. In fulfilling our purpose, we present musical offerings in praise to God while striving to lead others into God’s divine presence so that, through praise, thanksgiving, and worship, each person may experience the miracle of God’s love, acceptance, and salvation. At the core of our Music Ministry is the Praise Team. This group of 12 - 14 singers leads the congregation each week in worship. Rehearsals are Other opportunities to participate in the Music Ministry are through vocal solos, duets, trios, quartets, small ensembles, or instrumental music — you name it! The possibilities are endless — and all are welcome to become involved and use their talents for God. on Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, and although no auditions are required, a commitment to attending rehearsals and regular worship is a must.
