Thank you so much for taking the time to visit Gentle Shepherd MCC. Whether you’ve attended one of our services or events, or you are just checking us out here on the Web, we want you to know two things. First of all you are very important to us. I know that sounds like a marketing sound byte — something you might expect to hear from a bank or a grocery store — but it is really true! You, and your life are at the very core of what is important and central to us. We don’t need to know your name in order to ask God to take care of you, to guide you and even heal you. The second thing we want you to know is that God loves you. Maybe you don’t feel that right now. Perhaps you don’t even care about God or maybe you are angry at God. None of that matters. God has loved you since before you were born, and that love stands firm regardless of our awareness of it. In fact, God has been working in your life in such a way that you may not even be aware of it. I believe God has led you to this Web site for a reason. That reason may be as big as literally saving your life, or it may be as small as reminding you that you are loved. For whatever reason you have come into our lives, we welcome you and we are glad you are here. May God’s peace fill your soul. May the illuminating presence of Jesus guide your life, and may the Spirit of God fill you with power, healing, strength, and courage. In Christ, |
